Mrs. Ollie Kellogg, aged 86, a former resident of Hillsboro died at 2 o’clock Wednesday morning June 28 at the home of her nephew, Scott Kendall at Mecca. Since the death of her husband, Jonathan Kellogg, about 5 years ago she had made her home with her nephews at Mecca. She had been an invalid for some time, having suffered a stroke. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Applegate and her early life was spent west of Newtown. Nieces and nephews are the only survivors. Funeral services were held at 10 o’clock Friday morning with burial in the Baptist Cemetery west of Newtown. – kbz
